Game Of Thrones/ Doctor Who

I've been doing a bunch of little quick sketches over the last two days,there just of random characters I picked from the show. The last one is for an old doctor who post I forgot to upload. I'm excited the blog is up and running again.

I still need to watch this show! But I actually had a commission recently of Daenerys Targaryen from this show on my of my sketchbook sketch covers. I need to make a print once I watch more of this show. So I hope you like and I'm so glad that this sketchblog is back in action :)

Here’s my Earth 2099 Justice League characters - a little more like X-men with everyone having a positive and a negative side to their abilities, tying all their pasts together so they all have motivations that complicate their interrelationships. Better late than never I always say! I used to love Batman Beyond, especially the Return of the Joker Movie as well!

I really plan on shaping this up more, but for now, I'll leave this sad little placeholder(I know the wings need work!)

Last Week/ Random!

Sorry I missed Last week's post. Been traveling to conventions. Here's an old print I did at school that fits the last theme well. I call it Shark Attack! based from a song from a band called Math the Band.

And for this weeks random doodle I'll post 2 of my favorite draws recently that will be featured at a art show coming up about the muppets! I had an option to draw any type of puppet for this how. So here are two of the pieces I'll have there famed all fancy.

With the new season starting up I wanted to dig up some of my more popular pieces I've done from this last convention season...And also show my love of alcohol ;)

Avenger Time!

I decided to a mashup for this weeks theme. I call this piece Avenger Time where I mixed up the Avengers with characters from Adventure Time. Finn is Capt. America , Jake is the Hulk, The Ice King is Thor, Bubblegum Princess is Black widow, LSP is Hawk Eye, BMO is Iron Man, and Marceline as Loki! I plan to debut this as a print at PalmCon 2. So I hope everyone enjoys it. :)

I'm an Artist, not a Doctor!

As part of the inkwash headshots I've been doing, I've been working on a bunch of Star Trek ones, from each of the series.  While I'm not a fan of the original series at all, Bones was always one of my favorite Star Trek characters.  I always thought it was funny how Kelley and Nimoy both aged very well in look and voice, while Shatner just got chubby.

Well guess who's back, at least for Star Wars I'll try and make a few other posts but I'm pretty busy, the price of having 3 projects going at once.  Anyways a few things to mention, really guys we pick star wars a universe with 100's of characters and everyone draws Fett?  ::face palm::  On another note this is actually a piece I did as a gift for a friend (see what happens when your friends with me you get awesome shit)  I love Star Wars its had a profound affect on my life as a kid and an adult, one of the things I have on my career bucket list is to do a Star Wars comic that redefines what the comics can be and really tell a great story in that universe.  But I digress enjoy the Dark lord of the sith.

Bow ties are cool.

Bow Ties are very cool. I've always loved doctor doom. This is the second time I have done a Doctor Doom/ other character piece. I've recently got into Doctor Who, but I have always thought bow ties were cool.

Quick and Dirty

Never was the biggest fan of Star Wars, I know that is like blasphemy and such but whatever. Although  I always thought Boba Fett looked boss. Again, this isn't perfect, but I feel as if it was a somewhat successful first attempt at this character. I think I'll have a bit more fun drawing Matt Smith.

Double Post!

Been working on several things lately, but I wanted to make sure some Star Wars art was posted.  Not sure when I'll be able to finish this Boba Fett piece.  I ended up taking my time and really making sure all the details were the best I could make them on each of these, and I'm pleased with the turnouts.

Also, the EU doesn't count.  Boba Fett died in the Sarlac Pitt.
